Space is much more limited today in Minnesota's career and technical education classes because the state has slashed more than half of its course offerings in recent years. Demand, meantime, remains strong.
Don't we want someone to be trained in these technical areas and have people to be able to fix the air conditioner when it is 97 degrees and high humidity or fix our plumbing when it doesn't work? These are well paying jobs.
